Suffering:
Mystery and Meaning (PHL E67-71) explores the different ways in which
both modern and biblical literature wrestles with the topic of finding
meaning in suffering. Ten-week class meets Thursdays, 10 a.m. - 12
p.m., starting Jan. 25. Course fee is $110.
Jihad
and the Status of Women in Western and Islamic Philosophy (PHL E69-71)
examines the chasm between jihad and the status of women in Western
and Islamic traditions. Ten-week course meets Fridays, 10 a.m. - 12
p.m., starting Jan. 26. Course fee is $110.
Oakton's
