Oakton Emeritus Courses Offer Opportunities after Retirement

Making the most of retirement is the topic of a new course offered this spring by the Emeritus Program at Oakton Community College.

Retirement: Opportunity or Boredom (PSY C31-71) provides new avenues for creativity and well-being during the later stages of life. Six-week course meets 12:30 - 3 p.m., Mondays, starting Jan. 9, at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $80.

Oakton's Emeritus Program offers credit and noncredit courses, lectures, seminars, and tours, while providing a chance to share learning experiences with peers age 50 and over.
