Evolution
of the Bill of Rights (HIS C12-71) examines the historical evolution
of the Bill of Rights and how it protects the individual from the
federal government. Seven-week course meets 2:30 - 4 p.m., Mondays,
starting April 4, at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln
Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $90.
The
New Yorker (HUM E93-72) analyzes favorite selections from
the sophisticated magazine, The New Yorker. A subscription to The
New Yorker is required. Six-week course meets 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.,
Mondays, starting April 4, at Temple Judea Mizpah, 8610 Niles Center
Road, Skokie. Course fee is $60.
Chair
Tai Chi Chih (PED C05-71) promotes physical, mental and emotional
well-being through movement. Eight-week course meets 10:30 - 11:30
a.m., Fridays, starting April 8, at Oakton's Ray Hartstein Campus.
Course fee is $96.
Oakton's
Emeritus Program offers credit and noncredit courses, lectures, seminars,
and tours, while providing a chance to share learning experiences
with peers age 50 and over.
