the Emeritus Program at Oakton Community College.
Jewish
Humor (HUM C11-71) examines the tradition of self-deprecating and
anecdotal humor in Judaism. Discover why people all over the world
can relate to "schhlemiels" and "schlimazls" in Jewish humor. Three-week
course meets Mondays, 1 - 2:30 p.m., starting Jan. 29, at Oakton's
Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. Course fee is
$70.
Oakton's
Emeritus Program offers credit and noncredit courses, lectures, seminars,
and tours, while providing a chance to share learning experiences
with peers age 50 and over.
