Faculty Job Fair

Oakton will host the Illinois Community Colleges Faculty Job Fair on Thursday, Oct. 11, from 3-8 p.m. at its Des Plaines campus. This event is co-sponsored by the Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE), the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and the National Association for Asian American Professionals (NAAAP).

Seven local institutions will be on-hand to recruit for full- and part-time faculty positions in a variety of disciplines. Participating colleges include the College of Lake County, Elgin Community College, Illinois Valley Community College, Moraine Valley Community College, Oakton Community College, South Suburban College, and William Rainey Harper College.

Individuals who cannot attend the Job Fair may fax a résumé with cover letter to (847) 635-1764, attn: LG, or submit their information electronically at the official Job Fair Web site: www.oakton.edu/jobfair. Maps and directions to the event can be found online, as can a list of specific job openings available at each participating college.
