GED Preparation Classes prepare students, age 19 and older, to pass the General Educational Development (GED) Test. In addition to the pre-GED classes in English, reading, and math skills, ALL offers GED-level review classes in essay writing, reading, math, science, social studies, English, Spanish, and the U.S. Constitution. To enroll in GED test preparation classes, students must attend one of these free sessions for placement testing, counseling, and registration:
- Session I: Tuesday, Jan. 7, and Thursday, Jan. 9, (must attend both nights), 6:45 - 10 p.m., at Maine East High School, 2601 Dempster St., Park Ridge.
- Session II: Monday, Jan. 13, and Wednesday, Jan. 15 (must attend both nights), 6:45 - 10 p.m., at Niles North High School, 9800 Lawler Ave., Skokie.
