a Group Outing to the Performing Arts at Oakton
Theater lovers and event organizers are invited to take advantage of discount tickets for upcoming performances at Oakton Community College. Group ticket sales are now open for three powerful dramas being staged at the Des Plaines campus during the spring 2004 season: "Coyote on a Fence" (Feb. 25 - March 7), "Cyrano de Bergerac" (March 24 - April 4), and "Working (the musical)" (April 22 - May 8).
A group outing is a great way for people to discover the quality entertainment that is featured by the Performing Arts at Oakton. Group sales options include:
- Fundraisers - Purchase discount tickets, and sell them at a higher price to raise money for your club or group.
- Parties - We'll help you arrange any type of special celebration - birthday, anniversary, retirement, and children's parties.
- Corporate outing - Treat employees to a night at the theater. Catering is available.
- "After Show" - Meet the performers at a reception with light refreshments.
- Discussion groups - Work with Oakton faculty members to develop a meaningful dialogue among the members of your school, club, or organization.
Oakton features two theater venues at the Des Plaines campus: the Footlik Theater, a 285-seat auditorium-style theater with professional sound and lighting facilities, and Studio One, a casual "black box" theater with intimate staging and seating for 100 people. Studio Two, located at the Ray Hartstein Campus in Skokie, is closed during renovations until 2005.
