Explore Physical Therapist Assistant Opportunities at Oakton
Students interested in pursuing a career as a physical therapist assistant are invited to attend a free information session, at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, at Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines. Reservations are required.
This session is designed to showcase Oakton's physical therapist assistant program. Oakton's PTA program prepares students to provide skilled, direct patient care in a variety of health care settings, under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
Employment forecasts for the next five years show that PTA opportunities are expected to grow faster than average. Oakton's curriculum is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of the American Physical Therapy Association.
