'Alice in Wonderland' Comes to Oakton
The Performing Arts at Oakton brings Lewis Carroll's literary classic Alice in Wonderland to life March 29 - April 1, and April 5 - 7, at Oakton Community College's Footlik Theater, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines.
Alice in Wonderland is a journey into the world of complete illusion based on Carroll's original texts for Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass and features many memorable characters including the March Hare, Mad Hatter, and the Red and White Queens.
Performances are 8 p.m., Fridays, March 30 and April 6; 8 p.m., Saturdays, March 31 and April 7; 2 p.m., Saturday, April 7; 2 p.m., Sunday, April 1; and 8 p.m., Thursday, April 5. Tickets are $12; $10 for students and seniors; and $8 for groups of 15 or more.
A $5 preview performance will be staged at 8 p.m., Thursday, March 29 and a post-show discussion will be held after the Sunday performance on April 1.
