Register for two or more on-campus computer classes offered this fall by Oakton's Alliance for Lifelong Learning (ALL) and receive a 10 percent discount. This special offer includes more than 20 noncredit courses in basic skills, Web design, and software applications.Excel (DPR A84) is an introduction to the popular spreadsheet software used by many businesses and organizations. In PowerPoint (DPR A70), students learn how to create on-screen presentations using PowerPoint 2000. Computer Graphic Design (DPR A43) introduces the basics of layout and design to create customized greeting cards, newsletters, and other projects.
Other on-campus computer courses eligible for the discount include Basic Computer (DPR A22), Windows Applications (DPR A76), Access (DPR A71), Design Web Pages (DPR A78), Upgrade and Repair Your Own PC (DPR A89), Microsoft Publisher (DPR A46), Dreamweaver (DPR A37) and Microsoft FrontPage (DPR A94).
The fall 2002 term begins Monday, Aug. 26. To receive the discount, students must register in-person, by mail, or by fax at (847) 635-1448; discounts cannot be applied to Touch-Tone registrations.
