Bet on good times "across the board" Saturday, August 23, as the Oakton Community College Educational Foundation hosts its 12th annual "Oakton at Arlington" fundraiser. Proceeds from this important event are used to support scholarships and special programs that are not covered by the College's regular budget.

In addition to an exciting day at the races (featuring the $100,000 Arlington Sprint), guests will enjoy a spectacular luncheon buffet in the International Room, open bar, raffle, and a chance to bid on hundreds of items in the "Make Dreams Come True" silent auction.

This year's auction features a one-week stay at the Royal Dunes Resort at Hilton Head; a weekend at Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark in Lake Geneva; at-home dinner party for 10 catered by chef Courtney Contos (formerly of Tru and Charlie Trotter's), and a variety of custom golf packages, one of which includes a round with WGN-TV sports personality Dan Roan.

Tickets for "Oakton at Arlington" are $60 and can be reserved by calling the Office of Resource Development at 847-635-1893.
