Auditions Set for 'A Raisin in the Sun'
Open auditions for the Performing Arts at Oakton production of Lorraine Hansberry's "A Raisin in the Sun" are scheduled 6 - 10 p.m., Monday, Oct. 18, and Tuesday, Oct. 19, at Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines.
"A Raisin in the Sun" is the story of a Chicago family chasing the American Dream, which touches on themes of identity, justice, and moral responsibility. The director is casting characters of all ages to portray an African American family, and one white male adult character.
