Only
a few tickets remain for "King Tort and the Golden Age of Lawyers,"
the Chicago Bar Association's annual Christmas Spirits Revue, to be
presented at 8:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 27, at Oakton Community College,
1600 E. Golf Road.
The
Christmas Spirits Revue showcases some of Chicago's best legal minds
in year-end parodies of political, sports, and show business newsmakers
- from Mel Gibson and Katie Couric, to Mayor Daley's courting of the
Olympic Games and Pluto's planetary demotion.
Proceeds
from this annual production benefit scholarships funded by the Oakton
Educational Foundation. A reception follows the performance.
