OAKTON RAISES THE "BAR" ON NEW PRODUCTION

For the past 78 years, the Chicago Bar Association has put on its Christmas Spirits Revue show, billed as a "satirical revue of national and Chicago politics and people."

A benefit performance sponsored by the Oakton Community College Educational Foundation is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2002, at Oakton's Performing Arts Center, 1600 E. Golf Rd., Des Plaines.

This year's production, "The Document Producers," features songs and dances, satirizing the Bears, Osama bin laden, President Bush, Governor George Ryan, among other topics in the news.

Reserved seats are $45. A reception featuring magicians will be held after the performance. To order tickets, contact Oakton's Office of College Development at (847) 635-1893.
