Audition for Staged Reading 'Bash' at Oakton
Open auditions for the Performing Arts at Oakton production of the staged reading "Bash," by Neil LaBute, are scheduled 6 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 1, and 6 - 9 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2, at Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines.
This trio of one-act plays showcases LaBute's raw lyrical intensity while presenting the dark side of society. The director is casting men and women of all ages and prefers that actors prepare a monologue for the audition. Cold reading scripts also will be provided.
"Bash" will be presented 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 18, at the Des Plaines campus, and 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. For more information or to order tickets, call the Oakton Box Office at 847-635-1900.
