Vendors
of new or craft items are invited to reserve space now for Oakton
Community College's Fall Bazaar, scheduled for Thursday, October 6.
This annual event will be held 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., throughout the campus
at 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines.
Sponsored by the Annuitants Association at Oakton, the Fall Bazaar
gives vendors the chance to sell their seasonal merchandise to Oakton
students, faculty, and staff, as well as the general public. The college's
convenient location and availability of plenty of free parking make
the Fall Bazaar a unique selling environment with a large attentive
audience.
Rental
vendor spaces are available at two price levels: $50 for a single
(4 feet by 6 feet) and $90 for a double (4 feet by 12 feet). Vendors
also may rent a table and two chairs for $15 (available on a limited
basis). The Fall Bazaar committee reserves the right to select vendors
who best serve the image and quality of the event (no trademark "knock-offs"
allowed). All proceeds benefit Oakton's Annuitants Association, serving
retired College employees.
Early registration is encouraged; vendors will be allocated space
on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve vendor space, contact
