Early birds can get a head start on their holiday shopping at Oakton Community College's Fall Bazaar on Thursday, October 9, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Spend a leisurely day at Oakton's Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road, shopping for fall decorations and crafts, as well as Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas items. Product categories include gourmet foods; designer clothing and jewelry; children's books; stained glass; leather goods, plush animals, and items available from Avon, Mary Kay, and Tupperware.

Admission and parking are free, and lunch is available for purchase in the campus cafeteria. All proceeds benefit the Oakton Annuitants Association.
