From scrumptious sandwiches to sizzling songs, Oakton Community College presents "Hello, Deli" at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 15, in the TenHoeve Center on the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road.Staring Eileen Berman and Dan Detloff, this authentic New York musical extravaganza features songs from Broadway musicals, including "My Fair Lady," "South Pacific," and many others. Dinner will be served during the performance.
Berman, a voice faculty member with Oakton's music department, has performed throughout the Chicago area as a soloist with the Skokie Valley Symphony, Chicago Chamber Orchestra, and Harper Symphony Orchestra. Detloff, director of voice at Oakton, was formerly a member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus and the Lyric Opera in Chicago. He currently serves at several area temples.
Tickets are $35 general admission for dinner and the show. For more information, call 847-635-1900.
