Chicago Bar Association Brings Comic Revue to Oakton Stage
The Saga Continues With "Bar Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clients"

Discover which of this year's newsmakers will suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous proportion when the Chicago Bar Association brings its 79th annual "Christmas Spirits" satirical revue to Oakton Community College on Saturday, Jan. 25.

In this year's original production, "Bar Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clients," some of Chicago's best legal minds spoof local and national news and politics, targeting the likes of Jim Ryan, Rod Blagojevich, George W. Bush, Martha Stewart, and the Andersen/Enron scandal, among others. Featured are performances by local residents Bob Canel of Skokie (as Mayor Daley), Cliff Berman of Lincolnwood (as Gov. George Ryan), Joseph LaGioia Jr. of Niles, and Nathan G. Brenner Jr. of Morton Grove.

The show begins at 8:30 p.m. in the Footlik Theater at Oakton's Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road. A reception follows the performance. This event is hosted by Oakton's Educational Foundation, with proceeds benefiting scholarships. Reserved seats are $50; to order tickets, call the Office of Resource Development at 847-635-1893.
