Oakton Hosts Children's Program at Skokie Campus

Celebrate National Library Week and the Week of the Child (April 18-24) with a free performance by children's author W. Nikola-Lisa, at Oakton Community College, 7701 N. Lincoln Avenue, Skokie. Using puppetry and music, Nikola-Lisa will tell stories and read excerpts from his books on Wednesday, April 21, at 10 a.m.

Nikola-Lisa has published 16 children's books, including such popular titles as Night Is Coming, Shake Dem Halloween Bones, The Year With Grandma Moses, and Can You Top That?

The Skokie campus library also will present a display of children's literature, and artwork created by Oakton Early Childhood Center students. The exhibit runs through the week.
