Find
creative and innovative ways to earn a bachelor's degree during the
Nontraditional College Fair, 5 - 7 p.m., Tuesday,
April 15, at Oakton Community College, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.
Many institutions offer alternatives for adult students to complete
their bachelor's degree. From "fast track" and independent study programs,
to life experience credit for those with accomplished careers, this
fair offers solutions for students dealing with outside commitments.
Sponsored by the Advising and Counseling Center at Oakton, the Nontraditional
College Fair hosts representatives of more than two dozen Illinois
colleges and universities. Participating schools include Benedictine
University, DePaul University, Dominican University, Elmhurst College,
Governors State University, Illinois Institute of Technology, National-Louis
University, Northeastern Illinois University, Roosevelt University,
Shimer College, University of Illinois, and Western Illinois University.
