Figure
Sculpture (ART C25-01) explores traditional and nontraditional
methods of sculpting. Course incorporates concepts such as basic anatomy,
proportion, and expression. Eight-week course meets 6:30 - 9 p.m.,
starting Thursday, Feb. 3, at Maine East High School, 2601 Dempster
St., Park Ridge. Course fee is $150.
Insight
Meditation and Mindful Living (PSY C26-01) shows students
how to better handle stress, plus strengthen focus and concentration.
Wear loose, comfortable clothing, and bring a blanket or mat to class.
Eight-week course meets 7 - 8:30 p.m., starting Wednesday, Feb. 2,
at Maine West High School, 1755 S. Wolf Road, Des Plaines. Course
fee is $99.
Finding
Total Fitness for You (HEA E84-01) bases a personal fitness
and weight control regime around your busy schedule. One-week seminar
meets 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 5 at Oakton's Ray Hartstein
Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $99.
