Experience the diversity of Costa Rica on a travel/study
tour offered through Oakton Community College. The final 2008 trip
departs in December.
Board a “jungle ski lift” and keep a sharp eye out for
exotic life hidden in the rain forest. Travel to San Carlos and climb
Poas Volcano, one of the world’s largest craters. At La Paz
Waterfall Gardens, view the awesome power of four majestic waterfalls
from a number of exciting perspectives, or visit the largest butterfly
observatory in the world.
An optional excursion to Manuel Antonio National Park is available
at an extra cost. Lower cost versions of these learning vacations
are available for the budget-minded traveler. Alternative trips include
more modest accommodations and meal packages.
