ENJOY A WILDLIFE ADVENTURE IN COSTA RICA

Discover the exotic beauty of Costa Rica, a country of lush rainforests, tropical beaches and abundant wildlife, in a tour offered by Oakton Community College's travel/study program. Tours are scheduled from January 11-22, February 8-19, March 15-26 and April 5-16, 2002.

Costa Rica's natural riches are the backdrop for an exciting adventure to its major landmarks. Travel to the top of a rainforest, where hanging gardens of plants and animals are hidden among the tall tropical trees. Take a "walk in the clouds" at the Monteverde Cloud Forest, a unique sub-tropical environment and a haven for birds and other wildlife.

Other trip highlights include visits to Arenal, the site of the Arenal Volcano, and to Guanacaste to explore a wildlife park that features Congo and white-faced monkeys. Throughout your Costa Rican adventure, you'll sample native dishes at specially arranged meals. A visit to a private home will give you a glimpse into the everyday lives and customs of the people.
