Travel to Croatia on Oakton Tour

Visit scenic and historic Croatia on a travel/study tour offered by Oakton Community College. Conducted by Frank Fonsino, a retired professor of history, the next trip departs March 17, 2009.

In the capital city of Zagreb, enjoy the charm of dramatic medieval architecture. View a cascading 700-foot waterfall at Krka National Park. Tour the city of Split, where Hungarian, Venetian, and French monarchs once ruled. Known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic,” Dubrovnik offers well-preserved historic sites, including magnificent, centuries-old walls.

Excursions to the Istrian Peninsula and the coastal town of Cavtat are offered at additional cost.
