Enroll in Oakton's Entrepreneur Series
Small business owners and those considering small business ownership are invited to enroll in Oakton Community College’s Entrepreneur Series. Classes are available this spring at Oakton’s Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road.
Small Business Accounting Procedures (ACC 100-050) introduces students to accounting concepts and procedures. Sixteen-week course meets 6:30 – 9:20 p.m., Monday, starting Jan. 22.
Small Business Management (MGT 160-050) guides students through the development of a business plan while providing suggestions about financing. Ten-week course meets 6:30 – 10 p.m., Tuesday, starting Jan. 26.
