Get in Tune with Oakton Music Courses

Explore new musical dimensions in a course at Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road. One- and two-credit courses are available at convenient times throughout the day for musicians of all skill levels. Fall classes begin Aug. 22. Course are offered in the following disciplines:

Piano and Piano Ensemble
Call Glenna Sprague, professor of music, at 847-635-1905.

Voice

Call Dan Detloff, professor of music, at 847-635-1907.

Guitar
(including bass, contrabass, and jazz),
Brass
, Violin, Viola, Cello, Percussion and Woodwinds
Call the Music Division at 847-635-1937.

Performing Ensembles

(choir, guitar, jazz band, jazz combo, percussion, and woodwind).
Call the Music Division at 847-635-1937.

Register in person during summer hours, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 8 p.m., at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road, and the Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. Students with current applications on file or who have attended Oakton within the last three years may register online at http://webreg.oakton.edu.
