Music and Art Duet at Koehnline Gallery on August 30

Enjoy an evening of original music and art at The Gallery Music Series, a free concert to be performed at 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 30, in the William A. Koehnline Gallery at Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Rd., Des Plaines.

Oakton faculty Michael Adamczyk (guitar) and Theresa Lams (flute and clarinet) will perform a series of six original duet compositions. Joining Adamczyk will be Jim Konsbruck, Oakton alumnus and current director at the Northwest Music School in Mount Prospect.

The Gallery Music Series joins the current exhibition in the Koehnline Gallery, Philip Livingston: Open Book/Intimate Pages. For more information, call (847) 635-2633.
