Oakton Hosts Popular Children's Musician
Popular children's performer Jim Gill will present an afternoon of energetic music at 4 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, at Oakton Community College's Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road.
A child development specialist with more than two decades of experience, Gill travels the country leading "family concerts of music and play." His goal is to make the audience feel as though they are playing together in a giant living room. Gill's musical recordings have earned Parents' Choice awards, as well as recognition from the American Library Association.
Tickets for Gill's performance are $7; children under 12 admitted for $5.
