They're Back… Friendly Herptiles Invade Oakton on October 28

Herpetologist Keith Gisser and his roving band of "herptiles"-a captivating collection of reptiles and amphibians-return to Oakton on Sunday, Oct. 28.

Sponsored by Oakton's Kids' Club, the program begins at 1 p.m. in the TenHoeve Center (Room 1610) at the Des Plaines campus. Children are encouraged to touch and hold the animals as Gisser discusses their care, natural habitats and survival in captivity.

Tickets at $4 for general admission and $3 for Oakton students and children ages 3-12 may be purchased at the door or in advance by calling the Oakton Box Office at (847) 635-1900. There is no charge for children age 2 and under.
