Oakton Offers Health Career Info Sessions
Students interested in pursuing a career in health care are invited to attend free information sessions during March at both campuses of Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines, and 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.
Sessions are designed to showcase Oakton's degree and certificate programs in a variety of disciplines. Faculty will be on hand to discuss course requirements and industry trends.
Scheduled sessions include:
- Nursing
5:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 4 (Skokie);- Medical Billing, Medical Coding, and Medical Transcription
7 p.m., Wednesday, March 5 (Des Plaines);- Pharmacy Technician/Aseptic Pharmaceutical Preparations
5 p.m., Tuesday, March 25 (Skokie); and- Massage Therapy
