Oakton Offers Health Career Info Sessions

Students interested in pursuing a career in health care are invited to attend free information sessions during July at both campuses of Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines, and 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.

Sessions are designed to showcase Oakton’s degree and certificate programs. Faculty will be on hand to discuss course requirements and industry trends. Scheduled sessions include:

Pharmacy Technician/Aseptic Pharmaceutical Preparations
5 p.m., Tuesday, July 8 (Des Plaines);

Massage Therapy
5 p.m., Wednesday, July 9 (Skokie);

Medical Billing, Medical Coding, and Medical Transcription
6:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 22 (Skokie); and

Medical Laboratory Technology and Phlebotomy
5:30 p.m., Thursday, July 24 (Des Plaines).
