Two outstanding Oakton Community College students are the recipients of scholarships awarded by the Illinois Association of Community College Biologists (IACCB) for the 2004-05 academic year, College officials announced.

Barbara DiCola of Wilmette, a graduate of New Trier High School, and Pam Galowich of Evanston, a graduate of Joliet West High School, each received $250 in IACCB scholarship funds. The IACCB is focused on promoting the distribution of new methods, techniques, and curricula in life sciences.
