'Help Wanted' at Annual Oakton Job Fair
Job seekers and area employers get together 3 - 6:30 p.m., Thursday, April 14, at the annual Job Fair sponsored by Career Services at Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines. Parking and admission to this event are free.
Representatives of more than 50 companies - including The Daily Herald, United Parcel Service, Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Bonneville Radio Group, Metra, and Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company - will meet with prospective candidates. Recruiters are looking to fill positions in sales, customer service, education, management, health care, and other fields.
Attendees should dress professionally and bring plenty of resumes to the fair. Job seekers will learn how to obtain a password to CCJobNet.com, a partnership between Oakton and 11 other community college to connect people with jobs throughout northern Illinois.
