Visit historic Jordan on a travel/study tour offered
by Oakton Community College. Trips in 2009 are available in March
and June.
Begin your journey with a tour of the capital city of Amman and meet
with gracious Jordanians at a special luncheon. Visit the ecological
wonder of Wadi Rum, the stunning desert landscape where Lawrence
of Arabia was filmed, and Mount Nebo, the presumed burial site
of Moses. View the rock-carved city of Petra, which boasts more than
800 monuments, from tombs to temples. Finally, experience the Dead
Sea and the world’s richest source of natural salts.
