'Kids for President' Comes to Oakton
The Child’s Play Touring Theatre brings its production of Kids for President to Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines. Two performances are scheduled Saturday, Sept. 13, at noon and 2 p.m.
This presentation showcases how young people would solve society’s toughest challenges – if only they were in charge. Child’s Play is a nationally-recognized touring group that promotes reading and writing to elementary school students. The show is recommended for all ages.
Tickets are $7 for general admission; $5 for children 12 and under; and $4 for groups of 15 or more. The program is partially funded by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
