Oakton's Kids' College Registration Open for Grades 2-3
Second and third grade students can have fun learning new concepts and skills at Kids' College, a summer enrichment program sponsored by Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road. A 10 percent discount is available to parents who meet "early bird" registration deadlines.
Classes are offered in five one-week sessions from July 11 through Aug. 8, and meet for three hours Monday through Thursday.
Courses for youngsters entering second and third grade include Math Lab (KDES 33-32), Theater Games (KDES 99-32), Campus Biology (KDES 82-32), Constructing a Paragraph (KIDS 93-32), Physics I (KDES 30-32), Spelling Bee (KDES 94-32), Pocket Poems (KDES 88-32), Geology (KIDS 46-32), and Reading and Questioning (KIDS 80-34).
