Register for Late Starting Spring Classes at Oakton

There is still time to register for a selection of late starting spring semester classes offered by the Alliance for Lifelong Learning (ALL) at Oakton Community College.

Creative Scrapbooking (ART C59-01) explores methods to creatively display your memories, pictures, and other keepsakes. Bring five vacation-themed photos to the first class. This four-week course meets 7 - 9 p.m., starting Wednesday, April 7 at Niles North High, 9800 Lawler Ave., Skokie. Course fee is $60.

Available decorating and arts courses also include Change Your Life With Feng Shui (PSY B85-01), Balloon Sculpting (ART C51-01), and Stained Glass Artistry (ART E12-02).

Ballroom Dancing I (PED S61-02) teaches the basics of the cha cha, fox trot, waltz, rhumba, and tango. This seven-week class meets 8:45 - 10 p.m., starting Thursday, April 8 at Glenbrook South, 4000 W. Lake Ave., Glenview. Course fee is $75. Other late starting dance classes include Swing Dance (PED E86-02), I'll Dance at Your Wedding (PED S40-02), Ballroom Dancing II (PED S62-02), and Latin Line Dancing (PED S67-01).

Design Web Pages (DPR A78-02) helps Web novices get organized. This six-week class meets 5:45 - 9:30 p.m., starting Tuesday, March 30 at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road. Course fee is $220. Late starting computer courses also include Dreamweaver (DPR A37-02), Introduction to MS Word (DPR A83-04), and Access (DPR A71-04).

Students who have registered for ALL classes within the last five years, or for a credit course in the last three years, may register by using the Touch-Tone system at 847-635-1616 or by fax at 847-635-1448.
