Don't Be Tardy for 'Late Nite Catechism' at Oakton

Make plans now to attend Late Nite Catechism, Saturday, May 6, in a benefit for the Oakton Community College Educational Foundation. The 8 p.m. curtain at Oakton's Performing Arts Center, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines, follows a wine and hors d'oeuvres reception at 7 p.m. Desserts and coffee will be served after the performance.

Created in 1993 by Vicki Quade and Maripat Donovan, Late Nite Catechism takes a retrospective look at growing up Catholic in Chicago. Regardless of religious persuasion, each audience member becomes a "student" in Sister's hilarious adult catechism class.

Tickets to this special fundraiser are $60, with proceeds supporting scholarships, innovative programs, and other projects that promote Oakton's academic mission. The event is funded in part by gifts from CHASE, Horowitz and Associates, Inc., and Wheels, Inc.
