Audition for 'Macbeth' at Oakton
Open auditions for the Performing Arts at Oakton production of Shakespeare's Macbeth are scheduled 6 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 22 and Wednesday, Jan. 23, at Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines. In this tragic "Scottish play," the prophecies of witches ignite the blind ambition of Macbeth and his wife to murder their way to the top. The director is casting 11 men and six women. Candidates may read a Shakespearean monologue or be prepared to read from the script.
Macbeth will be presented March 20 - 22 and March 27 - 30, at Oakton's Des Plaines campus.
