The Oakton Community College men's soccer team is ranked No. 23 in the most
recent (Sept. 29) National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division
I Men's Soccer Coaches Association Poll.
Oakton, 8-2
overall and 4-0 in the Skyway Conference, moved up one spot from last week's
poll on the strength of its 1-0 victory over Prairie State College (Sept.
23). This is the Raiders' highest national ranking in school history.
Two Oakton
players also remain in the NJCAA rankings for individual scoring. Maine
West graduate Jeff Dolphin is ranked 14th in the nation, with Foreman High
School alum Adnan Ejupovic at No. 19. Overall, Oakton has scored 36 goals
this season while allowing only 10.
Oakton faces
Elgin Community College at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2. The Raiders conclude
conference play Oct. 9 at 3:30 p.m., at Morton College.
