Oakton Lecture Looks at U.S. Role in Mideast
'Digesting the News' Lecture Series Concludes May 7

U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East is the topic of the final lecture in Oakton Community College's "Digesting the News" series at the Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie. On Friday, May 7, George Lungu, adjunct professor of political science and history, will discuss the myths and realties concerning America's role in the region during his lecture, "Gulliver in Lilliput: American Foreign Policy in the Middle East."

Sponsored by Oakton Educators for Social Responsibility, "Digesting the News" provides a forum to discuss current topics concerning peace and justice. Lectures are held at Oakton's Skokie campus 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. A $5 donation is requested at the forum.
