Oakton Stages 'Last Train to Nibroc' at Both Campuses

The Performing Arts at Oakton production of Last Train to Nibroc by Arlene Hutton will be presented in a staged reading at 8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 30, at the Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road, and 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 1, at the Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.

Last Train to Nibroc follows the lives of May, a young, bookish woman, and Raleigh, a military veteran, who meet on a cross country train trip in 1940. Raleigh invites May to attend the popular Nibroc Festival near their Kentucky hometowns - but fate has other plans.

All tickets are $8. To reserve tickets, call the Oakton Box Office at 847-635-1900.
