Find
creative and unconventional ways to earn a bachelor's degree during
the Nontraditional College Fair, 5 - 7 p.m., Monday,
Nov. 5, at Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines.
Many
institutions offer alternatives for adults to complete their bachelor's
degree. From "fast track" and independent study programs, to life
experience credit for those with accomplished careers, this fair offers
solutions for students dealing with outside commitments.
Sponsored
by the Advising and Counseling Center at Oakton, the Nontraditional
College Fair hosts representatives of more than 25 Illinois colleges
and universities. Participating schools include: Benedictine University,
DePaul University, Dominican University, Elmhurst College, Governors
State University, Illinois Institute of Technology, National-Louis
University, Northeastern Illinois University, Northern Illinois University,
Roosevelt University, Shimer College, and Southern Illinois University.
