An open house for prospective students and their families will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road, Des Plaines. Campus tours will be offered at 5:30 p.m. for early arrivals and again at 8:30 p.m.
Sponsored by the Office of Admission and Enrollment Management, the open house will feature information about Oakton's admission process, career programs, transfer programs, financial assistance, student services and activities, and athletics. Oakton faculty, administrators, and students will be on hand to provide tours and answer questions.
Registration for the open house can be done online at www.oakton.edu (click on "Open House" in the top banner). Those who register before Nov. 30 will be eligible for a chance to win a tuition-free course at Oakton.

Oakton Community College offers degree and certificate curricula for students preparing to earn a bachelor's degree at a four-year college or university, as well as those preparing for employment in a variety of careers.
