Oakton Six Piano Ensemble Sets Audition Dates
Pianists are invited to audition for the internationally acclaimed Six Piano Ensemble, a unique musical ensemble at Oakton Community College.
Auditions are scheduled 7 – 9 p.m., Monday, Sept. 15, and Wednesday, Sept. 17, in Room 1360, at Oakton’s Des Plaines campus, 1600 E. Golf Road. Music is provided, but candidates also may perform a prepared selection.
Founded in 1980 by Glenna Sprague, professor and coordinator of music, the ensemble is scheduled to perform this year at the Virginia Music Teachers Association State Conference at Shenandoah University and the Music Teachers National Association Conference in Atlanta.
