Auditions Set for 'Pyretown' at Oakton
Open auditions for the Performing Arts at Oakton production of "Pyretown" are scheduled 7 - 9 p.m., Monday, March 21, and Tuesday, March 22, at Studio One on the Des Plaines campus of Oakton Community College, 1600 E. Golf Road.
"Pyretown" tells the story of three very different characters struggling to protect their self-esteem and maintain their humanity in the age of modern medicine. The director is casting one woman to play late 20s; one woman to play late 30s; and a male to play early 20s. Audition will consist of cold readings from provided scripts.
"Pyretown" will be presented 8 p.m., Friday, April 8, at Studio One on Oakton's Des Plaines campus and 8 p.m., Saturday, April 9, the Ray Hartstein Campus, 7701 N. Lincoln Ave., Skokie.
