Oakton Tour Visits Historic Russia

Experience Russia's ancient and modern cultures on a travel/study tour offered by Oakton Community College. Trips in 2008 depart in May, July, and August.

The journey begins in the capital city of Moscow, with visits to Red Square and The Kremlin. Travelers then board the M.S. Rossija for a two-week cruise along the mighty Volga River. Program highlights include visits to St. Basil's Cathedral, the History Museum of Russia, Lenin's tomb, Moscow State University, and the Grand Prince's burial vault. Travelers also will meet with Russian veterans of World War II and enjoy historical lectures.
