Experience
the fertile habitat of Kenya on a tour offered by Oakton Community
College. Trips in 2008 depart in January, June, and July.
The
journey begins in Nairobi with a visit to the National Museum of Kenya.
Cross the Athi Plaines and tour a famous gaming park, then marvel
at the sight of one million flamingos at Lake Nakuru. Tour Mt. Kenya
and cross the equator to Samburu Game Reserve. Throughout the safari,
participants will be immersed in the culture and wildlife of Kenya.
An
optional balloon safari and excursion to Tanzania are available at
an additional cost. Reduced price versions of this learning vacation
also are available for the budget-minded traveler. Alternative trips
include modest accommodations and limited meal packages.
