Visit

history, on an educational tour offered through Oakton Community College's
travel and study program. Only one trip in 2007 is scheduled, departing
on Sept. 10.
Tour
the regal city of Edinburgh, which includes a visit to the famous
Edinburgh Castle, the city's landmark and home of the Scottish crown
jewels. Travel to St. Andrews, the historic home of golf, and see
the Royal and Ancient Clubhouse and the famous Old Course. Follow
the coast road to visit the majestic Dunrobin Castle, built in 1275.
Learn the art of producing Scotch whiskey at the Edradour Whiskey
Distillery and enjoy a tasting of Highland malt whiskey. Search for
the elusive Loch Ness Monster while traveling through Loch Ness, one
of Britain's most scenic bodies of water. Witness the remarkable skills
of working Scottish sheep dogs and learn about Scottish farming before
continuing to Stirling Castle, first built 900 years ago and used
as the residence for the House of Stewart.
